Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. observed the Vigilance Awareness Period - 2010 in their Corporate and Regional Offices (Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata & Guwahati) from 25.10.2010 to 01.11.2010.
Shri S.P.S. Bakshi, Chairman-Cum-Managing Director, inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Period – 2010 at 11 AM on 25.10.2010 by administering the Pledge to all officials of the company working in the Corporate Headquarter and Northern Region of EPI in Delhi. The Regional Officers In-charge and other officer in-charges of various sites of EPI also administered the Pledge to their staff.
The message from Central Vigilance Commission was read out loudly by Shri Nawal Kishore, Chief Vigilance Officer, EPI. Messages from Hon’ble President, Hon’ble Vice President and Hon’ble Prime Minister of India were readout by CMD, Director(Projects) and ED(Finance & HR) respectively on this occassion.
The Southern Regional Office, Chennai informed that their programme concluded with a talk by the Incharge, about effective preventive measure emphasizing the need to eradicate corruption at all levels and also stressed over transparency in the works. It has been informed that PCO Hyderabad, Bangalore and all the site Incharge(s) observed Vigilance Awareness period from 25.10.2010 to 01.11.10 in their respective officers.
The Western Regional Office, Mumbai informed that their programme was concluded emphasizing the need of effective preventive measures through system improvement and use of information technology to fight & eradicate corruption. Posters of CVC etc. were displayed at prime locations in the office and Generation of Awareness and publicity against corruption was explained to the employees.
All the staff of Corporate Office and Regional Offices took keen interest in the matter.
